Flame Retardants
Flame Retardants, in concentrate or compound form, reduce the tendency of plastics to ignite and burn. The active Flame Retardant classes can be categorized in three groups, halogenated (emits a gas and prevents oxygen from reaching fuel), hydrates (quenches the system by releasing water to heat source), and phosphorus systems (which form a protective layer of carbon char shielding the system). Phoenix Plastics can tailor a Flame Retardants system based on your specific needs and application criteria.
- Cel-Span 611 - Halogenated for PP
- Cel-Span 625 - UL Listed VO halogen-free PP compound
